  3. licensing. Files that are completely new have a Google copyright and an ISC

  5. Contributors to BoringSSL are required to follow the CLA rules for Chromium:

  7. Files in third_party/ have their own licenses, as described therein. The MIT
  8. license, for third_party/fiat, which, unlike other third_party directories, is
  9. compiled into non-test libraries, is included below.
  10. The OpenSSL toolkit stays under a dual license, i.e. both the conditions of the
  11. OpenSSL License and the original SSLeay license apply to the toolkit. See below
  12. for the actual license texts. Actually both licenses are BSD-style Open Source
  13. licenses. In case of any license issues related to OpenSSL please contact

  257. TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR USE, REPRODUCTION, AND DISTRIBUTION
  258. 1. Definitions.
  259. "License" shall mean the terms and conditions for use, reproduction,
  260. and distribution as defined by Sections 1 through 9 of this document.
  261. "Licensor" shall mean the copyright owner or entity authorized by
  262. the copyright owner that is granting the License.
  263. "Legal Entity" shall mean the union of the acting entity and all
  264. other entities that control, are controlled by, or are under common
  265. control with that entity. For the purposes of this definition,
  266. "control" means (i) the power, direct or indirect, to cause the
  267. direction or management of such entity, whether by contract or
  268. otherwise, or (ii) ownership of fifty percent (50%) or more of the
  269. outstanding shares, or (iii) beneficial ownership of such entity.
  270. "You" (or "Your") shall mean an individual or Legal Entity
  271. exercising permissions granted by this License.
  272. "Source" form shall mean the preferred form for making modifications,
  273. including but not limited to software source code, documentation
  274. source, and configuration files.
  275. "Object" form shall mean any form resulting from mechanical
  276. transformation or translation of a Source form, including but
  277. not limited to compiled object code, generated documentation,
  278. and conversions to other media types.
  279. "Work" shall mean the work of authorship, whether in Source or
  280. Object form, made available under the License, as indicated by a
  281. copyright notice that is included in or attached to the work
  282. (an example is provided in the Appendix below).
  283. "Derivative Works" shall mean any work, whether in Source or Object
  284. form, that is based on (or derived from) the Work and for which the
  285. editorial revisions, annotations, elaborations, or other modifications
  286. represent, as a whole, an original work of authorship. For the purposes
  287. of this License, Derivative Works shall not include works that remain
  288. separable from, or merely link (or bind by name) to the interfaces of,
  289. the Work and Derivative Works thereof.
  290. "Contribution" shall mean any work of authorship, including
  291. the original version of the Work and any modifications or additions
  292. to that Work or Derivative Works thereof, that is intentionally
  293. submitted to Licensor for inclusion in the Work by the copyright owner
  294. or by an individual or Legal Entity authorized to submit on behalf of
  295. the copyright owner. For the purposes of this definition, "submitted"
  296. means any form of electronic, verbal, or written communication sent
  297. to the Licensor or its representatives, including but not limited to
  298. communication on electronic mailing lists, source code control systems,
  299. and issue tracking systems that are managed by, or on behalf of, the
  300. Licensor for the purpose of discussing and improving the Work, but
  301. excluding communication that is conspicuously marked or otherwise
  302. designated in writing by the copyright owner as "Not a Contribution."
  303. "Contributor" shall mean Licensor and any individual or Legal Entity
  304. on behalf of whom a Contribution has been received by Licensor and
  305. subsequently incorporated within the Work.
  306. 2. Grant of Copyright License. Subject to the terms and conditions of
  307. this License, each Contributor hereby grants to You a perpetual,
  308. worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable
  309. copyright license to reproduce, prepare Derivative Works of,
  310. publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and distribute the
  311. Work and such Derivative Works in Source or Object form.
  312. 3. Grant of Patent License. Subject to the terms and conditions of
  313. this License, each Contributor hereby grants to You a perpetual,
  314. worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable
  315. (except as stated in this section) patent license to make, have made,
  316. use, offer to sell, sell, import, and otherwise transfer the Work,
  317. where such license applies only to those patent claims licensable
  318. by such Contributor that are necessarily infringed by their
  319. Contribution(s) alone or by combination of their Contribution(s)
  320. with the Work to which such Contribution(s) was submitted. If You
  321. institute patent litigation against any entity (including a
  322. cross-claim or counterclaim in a lawsuit) alleging that the Work
  323. or a Contribution incorporated within the Work constitutes direct
  324. or contributory patent infringement, then any patent licenses
  325. granted to You under this License for that Work shall terminate
  326. as of the date such litigation is filed.
  327. 4. Redistribution. You may reproduce and distribute copies of the
  328. Work or Derivative Works thereof in any medium, with or without
  329. modifications, and in Source or Object form, provided that You
  330. meet the following conditions:
  331. (a) You must give any other recipients of the Work or
  332. Derivative Works a copy of this License; and
  333. (b) You must cause any modified files to carry prominent notices
  334. stating that You changed the files; and
  335. (c) You must retain, in the Source form of any Derivative Works
  336. that You distribute, all copyright, patent, trademark, and
  337. attribution notices from the Source form of the Work,
  338. excluding those notices that do not pertain to any part of
  339. the Derivative Works; and
  340. (d) If the Work includes a "NOTICE" text file as part of its
  341. distribution, then any Derivative Works that You distribute must
  342. include a readable copy of the attribution notices contained
  343. within such NOTICE file, excluding those notices that do not
  344. pertain to any part of the Derivative Works, in at least one
  345. of the following places: within a NOTICE text file distributed
  346. as part of the Derivative Works; within the Source form or
  347. documentation, if provided along with the Derivative Works; or,
  348. within a display generated by the Derivative Works, if and
  349. wherever such third-party notices normally appear. The contents
  350. of the NOTICE file are for informational purposes only and
  351. do not modify the License. You may add Your own attribution
  352. notices within Derivative Works that You distribute, alongside
  353. or as an addendum to the NOTICE text from the Work, provided
  354. that such additional attribution notices cannot be construed
  355. as modifying the License.
  356. You may add Your own copyright statement to Your modifications and
  357. may provide additional or different license terms and conditions
  358. for use, reproduction, or distribution of Your modifications, or
  359. for any such Derivative Works as a whole, provided Your use,
  360. reproduction, and distribution of the Work otherwise complies with
  361. the conditions stated in this License.
  362. 5. Submission of Contributions. Unless You explicitly state otherwise,
  363. any Contribution intentionally submitted for inclusion in the Work
  364. by You to the Licensor shall be under the terms and conditions of
  365. this License, without any additional terms or conditions.
  366. Notwithstanding the above, nothing herein shall supersede or modify
  367. the terms of any separate license agreement you may have executed
  368. with Licensor regarding such Contributions.
  369. 6. Trademarks. This License does not grant permission to use the trade
  370. names, trademarks, service marks, or product names of the Licensor,
  371. except as required for reasonable and customary use in describing the
  372. origin of the Work and reproducing the content of the NOTICE file.
  373. 7. Disclaimer of Warranty. Unless required by applicable law or
  374. agreed to in writing, Licensor provides the Work (and each
  375. Contributor provides its Contributions) on an "AS IS" BASIS,
  376. WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, either express or
  377. implied, including, without limitation, any warranties or conditions
  378. of TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY, or FITNESS FOR A
  379. PARTICULAR PURPOSE. You are solely responsible for determining the
  380. appropriateness of using or redistributing the Work and assume any
  381. risks associated with Your exercise of permissions under this License.
  382. 8. Limitation of Liability. In no event and under no legal theory,
  383. whether in tort (including negligence), contract, or otherwise,
  384. unless required by applicable law (such as deliberate and grossly
  385. negligent acts) or agreed to in writing, shall any Contributor be
  386. liable to You for damages, including any direct, indirect, special,
  387. incidental, or consequential damages of any character arising as a
  388. result of this License or out of the use or inability to use the
  389. Work (including but not limited to damages for loss of goodwill,
  390. work stoppage, computer failure or malfunction, or any and all
  391. other commercial damages or losses), even if such Contributor
  392. has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
  393. 9. Accepting Warranty or Additional Liability. While redistributing
  394. the Work or Derivative Works thereof, You may choose to offer,
  395. and charge a fee for, acceptance of support, warranty, indemnity,
  396. or other liability obligations and/or rights consistent with this
  397. License. However, in accepting such obligations, You may act only
  398. on Your own behalf and on Your sole responsibility, not on behalf
  399. of any other Contributor, and only if You agree to indemnify,
  400. defend, and hold each Contributor harmless for any liability
  401. incurred by, or claims asserted against, such Contributor by reason
  402. of your accepting any such warranty or additional liability.

  497. cross-claim or counterclaim in a lawsuit) alleging that the Work
  498. or a Contribution incorporated within the Work constitutes direct
  499. or contributory patent infringement, then any patent licenses
  500. granted to You under this License for that Work shall terminate
  501. as of the date such litigation is filed.
  502. 4. Redistribution. You may reproduce and distribute copies of the
  503. Work or Derivative Works thereof in any medium, with or without
  504. modifications, and in Source or Object form, provided that You
  505. meet the following conditions:
  506. (a) You must give any other recipients of the Work or
  507. Derivative Works a copy of this License; and
  508. (b) You must cause any modified files to carry prominent notices
  509. stating that You changed the files; and
  510. (c) You must retain, in the Source form of any Derivative Works
  511. that You distribute, all copyright, patent, trademark, and
  512. attribution notices from the Source form of the Work,
  513. excluding those notices that do not pertain to any part of
  514. the Derivative Works; and
  515. (d) If the Work includes a "NOTICE" text file as part of its
  516. distribution, then any Derivative Works that You distribute must
  517. include a readable copy of the attribution notices contained
  518. within such NOTICE file, excluding those notices that do not
  519. pertain to any part of the Derivative Works, in at least one
  520. of the following places: within a NOTICE text file distributed
  521. as part of the Derivative Works; within the Source form or
  522. documentation, if provided along with the Derivative Works; or,
  523. within a display generated by the Derivative Works, if and
  524. wherever such third-party notices normally appear. The contents
  525. of the NOTICE file are for informational purposes only and
  526. do not modify the License. You may add Your own attribution
  527. notices within Derivative Works that You distribute, alongside
  528. or as an addendum to the NOTICE text from the Work, provided
  529. that such additional attribution notices cannot be construed
  530. as modifying the License.
  531. You may add Your own copyright statement to Your modifications and
  532. may provide additional or different license terms and conditions
  533. for use, reproduction, or distribution of Your modifications, or
  534. for any such Derivative Works as a whole, provided Your use,
  535. reproduction, and distribution of the Work otherwise complies with
  536. the conditions stated in this License.
  537. 5. Submission of Contributions. Unless You explicitly state otherwise,
  538. any Contribution intentionally submitted for inclusion in the Work
  539. by You to the Licensor shall be under the terms and conditions of
  540. this License, without any additional terms or conditions.
  541. Notwithstanding the above, nothing herein shall supersede or modify
  542. the terms of any separate license agreement you may have executed
  543. with Licensor regarding such Contributions.
  544. 6. Trademarks. This License does not grant permission to use the trade
  545. names, trademarks, service marks, or product names of the Licensor,
  546. except as required for reasonable and customary use in describing the
  547. origin of the Work and reproducing the content of the NOTICE file.
  548. 7. Disclaimer of Warranty. Unless required by applicable law or
  549. agreed to in writing, Licensor provides the Work (and each
  550. Contributor provides its Contributions) on an "AS IS" BASIS,
  551. WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, either express or
  552. implied, including, without limitation, any warranties or conditions
  553. of TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY, or FITNESS FOR A
  554. PARTICULAR PURPOSE. You are solely responsible for determining the
  555. appropriateness of using or redistributing the Work and assume any
  556. risks associated with Your exercise of permissions under this License.
  557. 8. Limitation of Liability. In no event and under no legal theory,
  558. whether in tort (including negligence), contract, or otherwise,
  559. unless required by applicable law (such as deliberate and grossly
  560. negligent acts) or agreed to in writing, shall any Contributor be
  561. liable to You for damages, including any direct, indirect, special,
  562. incidental, or consequential damages of any character arising as a
  563. result of this License or out of the use or inability to use the
  564. Work (including but not limited to damages for loss of goodwill,
  565. work stoppage, computer failure or malfunction, or any and all
  566. other commercial damages or losses), even if such Contributor
  567. has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
  568. 9. Accepting Warranty or Additional Liability. While redistributing
  569. the Work or Derivative Works thereof, You may choose to offer,
  570. and charge a fee for, acceptance of support, warranty, indemnity,
  571. or other liability obligations and/or rights consistent with this
  572. License. However, in accepting such obligations, You may act only
  573. on Your own behalf and on Your sole responsibility, not on behalf
  574. of any other Contributor, and only if You agree to indemnify,
  575. defend, and hold each Contributor harmless for any liability
  576. incurred by, or claims asserted against, such Contributor by reason
  577. of your accepting any such warranty or additional liability.

  624. TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR USE, REPRODUCTION, AND DISTRIBUTION
  625. 1. Definitions.
  626. "License" shall mean the terms and conditions for use, reproduction,
  627. and distribution as defined by Sections 1 through 9 of this document.
  628. "Licensor" shall mean the copyright owner or entity authorized by
  629. the copyright owner that is granting the License.
  630. "Legal Entity" shall mean the union of the acting entity and all
  631. other entities that control, are controlled by, or are under common
  632. control with that entity. For the purposes of this definition,
  633. "control" means (i) the power, direct or indirect, to cause the
  634. direction or management of such entity, whether by contract or
  635. otherwise, or (ii) ownership of fifty percent (50%) or more of the
  636. outstanding shares, or (iii) beneficial ownership of such entity.
  637. "You" (or "Your") shall mean an individual or Legal Entity
  638. exercising permissions granted by this License.
  639. "Source" form shall mean the preferred form for making modifications,
  640. including but not limited to software source code, documentation
  641. source, and configuration files.
  642. "Object" form shall mean any form resulting from mechanical
  643. transformation or translation of a Source form, including but
  644. not limited to compiled object code, generated documentation,
  645. and conversions to other media types.
  646. "Work" shall mean the work of authorship, whether in Source or
  647. Object form, made available under the License, as indicated by a
  648. copyright notice that is included in or attached to the work
  649. (an example is provided in the Appendix below).
  650. "Derivative Works" shall mean any work, whether in Source or Object
  651. form, that is based on (or derived from) the Work and for which the
  652. editorial revisions, annotations, elaborations, or other modifications
  653. represent, as a whole, an original work of authorship. For the purposes
  654. of this License, Derivative Works shall not include works that remain
  655. separable from, or merely link (or bind by name) to the interfaces of,
  656. the Work and Derivative Works thereof.
  657. "Contribution" shall mean any work of authorship, including
  658. the original version of the Work and any modifications or additions
  659. to that Work or Derivative Works thereof, that is intentionally
  660. submitted to Licensor for inclusion in the Work by the copyright owner
  661. or by an individual or Legal Entity authorized to submit on behalf of
  662. the copyright owner. For the purposes of this definition, "submitted"
  663. means any form of electronic, verbal, or written communication sent
  664. to the Licensor or its representatives, including but not limited to
  665. communication on electronic mailing lists, source code control systems,
  666. and issue tracking systems that are managed by, or on behalf of, the
  667. Licensor for the purpose of discussing and improving the Work, but
  668. excluding communication that is conspicuously marked or otherwise
  669. designated in writing by the copyright owner as "Not a Contribution."
  670. "Contributor" shall mean Licensor and any individual or Legal Entity
  671. on behalf of whom a Contribution has been received by Licensor and
  672. subsequently incorporated within the Work.
  673. 2. Grant of Copyright License. Subject to the terms and conditions of
  674. this License, each Contributor hereby grants to You a perpetual,
  675. worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable
  676. copyright license to reproduce, prepare Derivative Works of,
  677. publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and distribute the
  678. Work and such Derivative Works in Source or Object form.
  679. 3. Grant of Patent License. Subject to the terms and conditions of
  680. this License, each Contributor hereby grants to You a perpetual,
  681. worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable
  682. (except as stated in this section) patent license to make, have made,
  683. use, offer to sell, sell, import, and otherwise transfer the Work,
  684. where such license applies only to those patent claims licensable
  685. by such Contributor that are necessarily infringed by their
  686. Contribution(s) alone or by combination of their Contribution(s)
  687. with the Work to which such Contribution(s) was submitted. If You
  688. institute patent litigation against any entity (including a
  689. cross-claim or counterclaim in a lawsuit) alleging that the Work
  690. or a Contribution incorporated within the Work constitutes direct
  691. or contributory patent infringement, then any patent licenses
  692. granted to You under this License for that Work shall terminate
  693. as of the date such litigation is filed.
  694. 4. Redistribution. You may reproduce and distribute copies of the
  695. Work or Derivative Works thereof in any medium, with or without
  696. modifications, and in Source or Object form, provided that You
  697. meet the following conditions:
  698. (a) You must give any other recipients of the Work or
  699. Derivative Works a copy of this License; and
  700. (b) You must cause any modified files to carry prominent notices
  701. stating that You changed the files; and
  702. (c) You must retain, in the Source form of any Derivative Works
  703. that You distribute, all copyright, patent, trademark, and
  704. attribution notices from the Source form of the Work,
  705. excluding those notices that do not pertain to any part of
  706. the Derivative Works; and
  707. (d) If the Work includes a "NOTICE" text file as part of its
  708. distribution, then any Derivative Works that You distribute must
  709. include a readable copy of the attribution notices contained
  710. within such NOTICE file, excluding those notices that do not
  711. pertain to any part of the Derivative Works, in at least one
  712. of the following places: within a NOTICE text file distributed
  713. as part of the Derivative Works; within the Source form or
  714. documentation, if provided along with the Derivative Works; or,
  715. within a display generated by the Derivative Works, if and
  716. wherever such third-party notices normally appear. The contents
  717. of the NOTICE file are for informational purposes only and
  718. do not modify the License. You may add Your own attribution
  719. notices within Derivative Works that You distribute, alongside
  720. or as an addendum to the NOTICE text from the Work, provided
  721. that such additional attribution notices cannot be construed
  722. as modifying the License.
  723. You may add Your own copyright statement to Your modifications and
  724. may provide additional or different license terms and conditions
  725. for use, reproduction, or distribution of Your modifications, or
  726. for any such Derivative Works as a whole, provided Your use,
  727. reproduction, and distribution of the Work otherwise complies with
  728. the conditions stated in this License.
  729. 5. Submission of Contributions. Unless You explicitly state otherwise,
  730. any Contribution intentionally submitted for inclusion in the Work
  731. by You to the Licensor shall be under the terms and conditions of
  732. this License, without any additional terms or conditions.
  733. Notwithstanding the above, nothing herein shall supersede or modify
  734. the terms of any separate license agreement you may have executed
  735. with Licensor regarding such Contributions.
  736. 6. Trademarks. This License does not grant permission to use the trade
  737. names, trademarks, service marks, or product names of the Licensor,
  738. except as required for reasonable and customary use in describing the
  739. origin of the Work and reproducing the content of the NOTICE file.
  740. 7. Disclaimer of Warranty. Unless required by applicable law or
  741. agreed to in writing, Licensor provides the Work (and each
  742. Contributor provides its Contributions) on an "AS IS" BASIS,
  743. WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, either express or

  749. 8. Limitation of Liability. In no event and under no legal theory,
  750. whether in tort (including negligence), contract, or otherwise,
  751. unless required by applicable law (such as deliberate and grossly
  752. negligent acts) or agreed to in writing, shall any Contributor be
  753. liable to You for damages, including any direct, indirect, special,
  754. incidental, or consequential damages of any character arising as a
  755. result of this License or out of the use or inability to use the
  756. Work (including but not limited to damages for loss of goodwill,
  757. work stoppage, computer failure or malfunction, or any and all
  758. other commercial damages or losses), even if such Contributor
  759. has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
  760. 9. Accepting Warranty or Additional Liability. While redistributing
  761. the Work or Derivative Works thereof, You may choose to offer,
  762. and charge a fee for, acceptance of support, warranty, indemnity,
  763. or other liability obligations and/or rights consistent with this
  764. License. However, in accepting such obligations, You may act only
  765. on Your own behalf and on Your sole responsibility, not on behalf
  766. of any other Contributor, and only if You agree to indemnify,

  769. of your accepting any such warranty or additional liability.

  907. "control" means (i) the power, direct or indirect, to cause the
  908. direction or management of such entity, whether by contract or
  909. otherwise, or (ii) ownership of fifty percent (50%) or more of the
  910. outstanding shares, or (iii) beneficial ownership of such entity.
  911. "You" (or "Your") shall mean an individual or Legal Entity
  912. exercising permissions granted by this License.
  913. "Source" form shall mean the preferred form for making modifications,
  914. including but not limited to software source code, documentation
  915. source, and configuration files.
  916. "Object" form shall mean any form resulting from mechanical
  917. transformation or translation of a Source form, including but
  918. not limited to compiled object code, generated documentation,
  919. and conversions to other media types.
  920. "Work" shall mean the work of authorship, whether in Source or
  921. Object form, made available under the License, as indicated by a
  922. copyright notice that is included in or attached to the work
  923. (an example is provided in the Appendix below).
  924. "Derivative Works" shall mean any work, whether in Source or Object
  925. form, that is based on (or derived from) the Work and for which the
  926. editorial revisions, annotations, elaborations, or other modifications
  927. represent, as a whole, an original work of authorship. For the purposes
  928. of this License, Derivative Works shall not include works that remain
  929. separable from, or merely link (or bind by name) to the interfaces of,
  930. the Work and Derivative Works thereof.
  931. "Contribution" shall mean any work of authorship, including
  932. the original version of the Work and any modifications or additions
  933. to that Work or Derivative Works thereof, that is intentionally
  934. submitted to Licensor for inclusion in the Work by the copyright owner
  935. or by an individual or Legal Entity authorized to submit on behalf of
  936. the copyright owner. For the purposes of this definition, "submitted"
  937. means any form of electronic, verbal, or written communication sent
  938. to the Licensor or its representatives, including but not limited to
  939. communication on electronic mailing lists, source code control systems,
  940. and issue tracking systems that are managed by, or on behalf of, the
  941. Licensor for the purpose of discussing and improving the Work, but
  942. excluding communication that is conspicuously marked or otherwise
  943. designated in writing by the copyright owner as "Not a Contribution."
  944. "Contributor" shall mean Licensor and any individual or Legal Entity
  945. on behalf of whom a Contribution has been received by Licensor and
  946. subsequently incorporated within the Work.
  947. 2. Grant of Copyright License. Subject to the terms and conditions of
  948. this License, each Contributor hereby grants to You a perpetual,
  949. worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable
  950. copyright license to reproduce, prepare Derivative Works of,
  951. publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and distribute the
  952. Work and such Derivative Works in Source or Object form.
  953. 3. Grant of Patent License. Subject to the terms and conditions of
  954. this License, each Contributor hereby grants to You a perpetual,
  955. worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable
  956. (except as stated in this section) patent license to make, have made,
  957. use, offer to sell, sell, import, and otherwise transfer the Work,
  958. where such license applies only to those patent claims licensable
  959. by such Contributor that are necessarily infringed by their
  960. Contribution(s) alone or by combination of their Contribution(s)
  961. with the Work to which such Contribution(s) was submitted. If You
  962. institute patent litigation against any entity (including a
  963. cross-claim or counterclaim in a lawsuit) alleging that the Work
  964. or a Contribution incorporated within the Work constitutes direct
  965. or contributory patent infringement, then any patent licenses
  966. granted to You under this License for that Work shall terminate
  967. as of the date such litigation is filed.
  968. 4. Redistribution. You may reproduce and distribute copies of the
  969. Work or Derivative Works thereof in any medium, with or without
  970. modifications, and in Source or Object form, provided that You
  971. meet the following conditions:
  972. (a) You must give any other recipients of the Work or
  973. Derivative Works a copy of this License; and
  974. (b) You must cause any modified files to carry prominent notices
  975. stating that You changed the files; and
  976. (c) You must retain, in the Source form of any Derivative Works
  977. that You distribute, all copyright, patent, trademark, and
  978. attribution notices from the Source form of the Work,
  979. excluding those notices that do not pertain to any part of
  980. the Derivative Works; and
  981. (d) If the Work includes a "NOTICE" text file as part of its
  982. distribution, then any Derivative Works that You distribute must
  983. include a readable copy of the attribution notices contained
  984. within such NOTICE file, excluding those notices that do not
  985. pertain to any part of the Derivative Works, in at least one
  986. of the following places: within a NOTICE text file distributed
  987. as part of the Derivative Works; within the Source form or
  988. documentation, if provided along with the Derivative Works; or,
  989. within a display generated by the Derivative Works, if and
  990. wherever such third-party notices normally appear. The contents
  991. of the NOTICE file are for informational purposes only and
  992. do not modify the License. You may add Your own attribution
  993. notices within Derivative Works that You distribute, alongside
  994. or as an addendum to the NOTICE text from the Work, provided
  995. that such additional attribution notices cannot be construed
  996. as modifying the License.
  997. You may add Your own copyright statement to Your modifications and
  998. may provide additional or different license terms and conditions
  999. for use, reproduction, or distribution of Your modifications, or
1000. for any such Derivative Works as a whole, provided Your use,
1001. reproduction, and distribution of the Work otherwise complies with
1002. the conditions stated in this License.
1003. 5. Submission of Contributions. Unless You explicitly state otherwise,
1004. any Contribution intentionally submitted for inclusion in the Work
1005. by You to the Licensor shall be under the terms and conditions of
1006. this License, without any additional terms or conditions.
1007. Notwithstanding the above, nothing herein shall supersede or modify
1008. the terms of any separate license agreement you may have executed
1009. with Licensor regarding such Contributions.
1010. 6. Trademarks. This License does not grant permission to use the trade
1011. names, trademarks, service marks, or product names of the Licensor,
1012. except as required for reasonable and customary use in describing the
1013. origin of the Work and reproducing the content of the NOTICE file.
1014. 7. Disclaimer of Warranty. Unless required by applicable law or
1015. agreed to in writing, Licensor provides the Work (and each
1016. Contributor provides its Contributions) on an "AS IS" BASIS,
1017. WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, either express or
1018. implied, including, without limitation, any warranties or conditions
1019. of TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY, or FITNESS FOR A
1020. PARTICULAR PURPOSE. You are solely responsible for determining the
1021. appropriateness of using or redistributing the Work and assume any
1022. risks associated with Your exercise of permissions under this License.
1023. 8. Limitation of Liability. In no event and under no legal theory,
1024. whether in tort (including negligence), contract, or otherwise,
1025. unless required by applicable law (such as deliberate and grossly
1026. negligent acts) or agreed to in writing, shall any Contributor be
1027. liable to You for damages, including any direct, indirect, special,
1028. incidental, or consequential damages of any character arising as a
1029. result of this License or out of the use or inability to use the
1030. Work (including but not limited to damages for loss of goodwill,
1031. work stoppage, computer failure or malfunction, or any and all
1032. other commercial damages or losses), even if such Contributor
1033. has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
1034. 9. Accepting Warranty or Additional Liability. While redistributing
1035. the Work or Derivative Works thereof, You may choose to offer,
1036. and charge a fee for, acceptance of support, warranty, indemnity,
1037. or other liability obligations and/or rights consistent with this
1038. License. However, in accepting such obligations, You may act only
1039. on Your own behalf and on Your sole responsibility, not on behalf
1040. of any other Contributor, and only if You agree to indemnify,
1041. defend, and hold each Contributor harmless for any liability
1042. incurred by, or claims asserted against, such Contributor by reason
1043. of your accepting any such warranty or additional liability.

1306. communication on electronic mailing lists, source code control systems,
1307. and issue tracking systems that are managed by, or on behalf of, the
1308. Licensor for the purpose of discussing and improving the Work, but
1309. excluding communication that is conspicuously marked or otherwise
1310. designated in writing by the copyright owner as "Not a Contribution."
1311. "Contributor" shall mean Licensor and any individual or Legal Entity
1312. on behalf of whom a Contribution has been received by Licensor and
1313. subsequently incorporated within the Work.
1314. 2. Grant of Copyright License. Subject to the terms and conditions of
1315. this License, each Contributor hereby grants to You a perpetual,
  1316. worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable
1317. copyright license to reproduce, prepare Derivative Works of,
1318. publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and distribute the
1319. Work and such Derivative Works in Source or Object form.
1320. 3. Grant of Patent License. Subject to the terms and conditions of
1321. this License, each Contributor hereby grants to You a perpetual,
  1322. worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable
1323. (except as stated in this section) patent license to make, have made,
1324. use, offer to sell, sell, import, and otherwise transfer the Work,
1325. where such license applies only to those patent claims licensable
1326. by such Contributor that are necessarily infringed by their
1327. Contribution(s) alone or by combination of their Contribution(s)
1328. with the Work to which such Contribution(s) was submitted. If You
1329. institute patent litigation against any entity (including a
1330. cross-claim or counterclaim in a lawsuit) alleging that the Work
1331. or a Contribution incorporated within the Work constitutes direct
1332. or contributory patent infringement, then any patent licenses
1333. granted to You under this License for that Work shall terminate
1334. as of the date such litigation is filed.
1335. 4. Redistribution. You may reproduce and distribute copies of the
1336. Work or Derivative Works thereof in any medium, with or without
1337. modifications, and in Source or Object form, provided that You
  1338. meet the following conditions:
1339. (a) You must give any other recipients of the Work or
1340. Derivative Works a copy of this License; and
1341. (b) You must cause any modified files to carry prominent notices
1342. stating that You changed the files; and
1343. (c) You must retain, in the Source form of any Derivative Works
1344. that You distribute, all copyright, patent, trademark, and
1345. attribution notices from the Source form of the Work,
1346. excluding those notices that do not pertain to any part of
  1347. the Derivative Works; and
1348. (d) If the Work includes a "NOTICE" text file as part of its
1349. distribution, then any Derivative Works that You distribute must
1350. include a readable copy of the attribution notices contained
1351. within such NOTICE file, excluding those notices that do not
1352. pertain to any part of the Derivative Works, in at least one
1353. of the following places: within a NOTICE text file distributed
1354. as part of the Derivative Works; within the Source form or
1355. documentation, if provided along with the Derivative Works; or,
1356. within a display generated by the Derivative Works, if and
1357. wherever such third-party notices normally appear. The contents
1358. of the NOTICE file are for informational purposes only and
1359. do not modify the License. You may add Your own attribution
1360. notices within Derivative Works that You distribute, alongside
1361. or as an addendum to the NOTICE text from the Work, provided
1362. that such additional attribution notices cannot be construed
  1363. as modifying the License.
1364. You may add Your own copyright statement to Your modifications and
1365. may provide additional or different license terms and conditions
1366. for use, reproduction, or distribution of Your modifications, or
1367. for any such Derivative Works as a whole, provided Your use,
1368. reproduction, and distribution of the Work otherwise complies with
1369. the conditions stated in this License.
1370. 5. Submission of Contributions. Unless You explicitly state otherwise,
1371. any Contribution intentionally submitted for inclusion in the Work
1372. by You to the Licensor shall be under the terms and conditions of
1373. this License, without any additional terms or conditions.
1374. Notwithstanding the above, nothing herein shall supersede or modify
1375. the terms of any separate license agreement you may have executed
1376. with Licensor regarding such Contributions.
1377. 6. Trademarks. This License does not grant permission to use the trade
1378. names, trademarks, service marks, or product names of the Licensor,
1379. except as required for reasonable and customary use in describing the
1380. origin of the Work and reproducing the content of the NOTICE file.
1381. 7. Disclaimer of Warranty. Unless required by applicable law or
1382. agreed to in writing, Licensor provides the Work (and each
1383. Contributor provides its Contributions) on an "AS IS" BASIS,
1384. WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, either express or
1385. implied, including, without limitation, any warranties or conditions
1386. of TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY, or FITNESS FOR A
1387. PARTICULAR PURPOSE. You are solely responsible for determining the
1388. appropriateness of using or redistributing the Work and assume any
1389. risks associated with Your exercise of permissions under this License.
1390. 8. Limitation of Liability. In no event and under no legal theory,
1391. whether in tort (including negligence), contract, or otherwise,
1392. unless required by applicable law (such as deliberate and grossly
1393. negligent acts) or agreed to in writing, shall any Contributor be
1394. liable to You for damages, including any direct, indirect, special,
1395. incidental, or consequential damages of any character arising as a
1396. result of this License or out of the use or inability to use the
1397. Work (including but not limited to damages for loss of goodwill,
1398. work stoppage, computer failure or malfunction, or any and all
1399. other commercial damages or losses), even if such Contributor
1400. has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
1401. 9. Accepting Warranty or Additional Liability. While redistributing
1402. the Work or Derivative Works thereof, You may choose to offer,
1403. and charge a fee for, acceptance of support, warranty, indemnity,
1404. or other liability obligations and/or rights consistent with this
1405. License. However, in accepting such obligations, You may act only
1406. on Your own behalf and on Your sole responsibility, not on behalf
1407. of any other Contributor, and only if You agree to indemnify,
1408. defend, and hold each Contributor harmless for any liability
1409. incurred by, or claims asserted against, such Contributor by reason
1410. of your accepting any such warranty or additional liability.

1464. (an example is provided in the Appendix below).
1465. "Derivative Works" shall mean any work, whether in Source or Object
1466. form, that is based on (or derived from) the Work and for which the
1467. editorial revisions, annotations, elaborations, or other modifications
1468. represent, as a whole, an original work of authorship. For the purposes
1469. of this License, Derivative Works shall not include works that remain

1471. the Work and Derivative Works thereof.
1472. "Contribution" shall mean any work of authorship, including

1528. as part of the Derivative Works; within the Source form or
1529. documentation, if provided along with the Derivative Works; or,
1530. within a display generated by the Derivative Works, if and
1531. wherever such third-party notices normally appear. The contents

1533. do not modify the License. You may add Your own attribution
1534. notices within Derivative Works that You distribute, alongside
1535. or as an addendum to the NOTICE text from the Work, provided
1536. that such additional attribution notices cannot be construed
  1537. as modifying the License.
1538. You may add Your own copyright statement to Your modifications and
1539. may provide additional or different license terms and conditions
1540. for use, reproduction, or distribution of Your modifications, or
1541. for any such Derivative Works as a whole, provided Your use,
1542. reproduction, and distribution of the Work otherwise complies with
1543. the conditions stated in this License.
1544. 5. Submission of Contributions. Unless You explicitly state otherwise,
1545. any Contribution intentionally submitted for inclusion in the Work
1546. by You to the Licensor shall be under the terms and conditions of
1547. this License, without any additional terms or conditions.
1548. Notwithstanding the above, nothing herein shall supersede or modify
1549. the terms of any separate license agreement you may have executed

  1610. 1. Definitions.
1611. "License" shall mean the terms and conditions for use, reproduction,
1612. and distribution as defined by Sections 1 through 9 of this document.
1613. "Licensor" shall mean the copyright owner or entity authorized by
1614. the copyright owner that is granting the License.
1615. "Legal Entity" shall mean the union of the acting entity and all
1616. other entities that control, are controlled by, or are under common
1617. control with that entity. For the purposes of this definition,

1622. "You" (or "Your") shall mean an individual or Legal Entity
1623. exercising permissions granted by this License.
1624. "Source" form shall mean the preferred form for making modifications,

  1626. source, and configuration files.
1627. "Object" form shall mean any form resulting from mechanical
1628. transformation or translation of a Source form, including but
1629. not limited to compiled object code, generated documentation,
1630. and conversions to other media types.
1631. "Work" shall mean the work of authorship, whether in Source or
1632. Object form, made available under the License, as indicated by a
1633. copyright notice that is included in or attached to the work
1634. (an example is provided in the Appendix below).
1635. "Derivative Works" shall mean any work, whether in Source or Object
1636. form, that is based on (or derived from) the Work and for which the
1637. editorial revisions, annotations, elaborations, or other modifications
1638. represent, as a whole, an original work of authorship. For the purposes
1639. of this License, Derivative Works shall not include works that remain
1640. separable from, or merely link (or bind by name) to the interfaces of,
1641. the Work and Derivative Works thereof.
1642. "Contribution" shall mean any work of authorship, including
1643. the original version of the Work and any modifications or additions
1644. to that Work or Derivative Works thereof, that is intentionally
1645. submitted to Licensor for inclusion in the Work by the copyright owner
1646. or by an individual or Legal Entity authorized to submit on behalf of
1647. the copyright owner. For the purposes of this definition, "submitted"
1648. means any form of electronic, verbal, or written communication sent
1649. to the Licensor or its representatives, including but not limited to
1650. communication on electronic mailing lists, source code control systems,

1688. that You distribute, all copyright, patent, trademark, and
1689. attribution notices from the Source form of the Work,
1690. excluding those notices that do not pertain to any part of
  1691. the Derivative Works; and
1692. (d) If the Work includes a "NOTICE" text file as part of its
1693. distribution, then any Derivative Works that You distribute must
1694. include a readable copy of the attribution notices contained
1695. within such NOTICE file, excluding those notices that do not
1696. pertain to any part of the Derivative Works, in at least one

  1794. Comment from
  1795. <a href="http://iphonedevwiki.net/index.php/Crack_prevention">iPhone Dev Wiki
1796. Crack Prevention</a>: App Store binaries are signed by both their developer
1797. and Apple. This encrypts the binary so that decryption keys are needed in order
1798. to make the binary readable. When iOS executes the binary, the decryption keys
1799. are used to decrypt the binary into a readable state where it is then loaded
1800. into memory and executed. iOS can tell the encryption status of a binary via the
1801. cryptid structure member of LC_ENCRYPTION_INFO MachO load command. If cryptid is
1802. a non-zero value then the binary is encrypted.
1803. 'Cracking' works by letting the kernel decrypt the binary then siphoning the
1804. decrypted data into a new binary file, resigning, and repackaging. This will
1805. only work on jailbroken devices as codesignature validation has been removed.
1806. Resigning takes place because while the codesignature doesn't have to be valid
1807. thanks to the jailbreak, it does have to be in place unless you have AppSync or
1808. similar to disable codesignature checks.

  1816. 1. Definitions.
1817. "License" shall mean the terms and conditions for use, reproduction,
1818. and distribution as defined by Sections 1 through 9 of this document.
1819. "Licensor" shall mean the copyright owner or entity authorized by
1820. the copyright owner that is granting the License.
1821. "Legal Entity" shall mean the union of the acting entity and all
1822. other entities that control, are controlled by, or are under common
1823. control with that entity. For the purposes of this definition,
1824. "control" means (i) the power, direct or indirect, to cause the
1825. direction or management of such entity, whether by contract or
1826. otherwise, or (ii) ownership of fifty percent (50%) or more of the
1827. outstanding shares, or (iii) beneficial ownership of such entity.
1828. "You" (or "Your") shall mean an individual or Legal Entity
1829. exercising permissions granted by this License.
1830. "Source" form shall mean the preferred form for making modifications,
1831. including but not limited to software source code, documentation
  1832. source, and configuration files.
1833. "Object" form shall mean any form resulting from mechanical
1834. transformation or translation of a Source form, including but
1835. not limited to compiled object code, generated documentation,
1836. and conversions to other media types.
1837. "Work" shall mean the work of authorship, whether in Source or
1838. Object form, made available under the License, as indicated by a
1839. copyright notice that is included in or attached to the work
1840. (an example is provided in the Appendix below).
1841. "Derivative Works" shall mean any work, whether in Source or Object
1842. form, that is based on (or derived from) the Work and for which the
1843. editorial revisions, annotations, elaborations, or other modifications
1844. represent, as a whole, an original work of authorship. For the purposes
1845. of this License, Derivative Works shall not include works that remain
1846. separable from, or merely link (or bind by name) to the interfaces of,
1847. the Work and Derivative Works thereof.
1848. "Contribution" shall mean any work of authorship, including
1849. the original version of the Work and any modifications or additions
1850. to that Work or Derivative Works thereof, that is intentionally
1851. submitted to Licensor for inclusion in the Work by the copyright owner
1852. or by an individual or Legal Entity authorized to submit on behalf of
1853. the copyright owner. For the purposes of this definition, "submitted"
1854. means any form of electronic, verbal, or written communication sent
1855. to the Licensor or its representatives, including but not limited to
1856. communication on electronic mailing lists, source code control systems,
1857. and issue tracking systems that are managed by, or on behalf of, the
1858. Licensor for the purpose of discussing and improving the Work, but
1859. excluding communication that is conspicuously marked or otherwise
1860. designated in writing by the copyright owner as "Not a Contribution."
1861. "Contributor" shall mean Licensor and any individual or Legal Entity
1862. on behalf of whom a Contribution has been received by Licensor and
1863. subsequently incorporated within the Work.
1864. 2. Grant of Copyright License. Subject to the terms and conditions of
1865. this License, each Contributor hereby grants to You a perpetual,
  1866. worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable
1867. copyright license to reproduce, prepare Derivative Works of,
1868. publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and distribute the
1869. Work and such Derivative Works in Source or Object form.
1870. 3. Grant of Patent License. Subject to the terms and conditions of
1871. this License, each Contributor hereby grants to You a perpetual,
  1872. worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable
1873. (except as stated in this section) patent license to make, have made,
1874. use, offer to sell, sell, import, and otherwise transfer the Work,
1875. where such license applies only to those patent claims licensable
1876. by such Contributor that are necessarily infringed by their
1877. Contribution(s) alone or by combination of their Contribution(s)
1878. with the Work to which such Contribution(s) was submitted. If You
1879. institute patent litigation against any entity (including a
1880. cross-claim or counterclaim in a lawsuit) alleging that the Work
1881. or a Contribution incorporated within the Work constitutes direct
1882. or contributory patent infringement, then any patent licenses
1883. granted to You under this License for that Work shall terminate
1884. as of the date such litigation is filed.
1885. 4. Redistribution. You may reproduce and distribute copies of the
1886. Work or Derivative Works thereof in any medium, with or without
1887. modifications, and in Source or Object form, provided that You
  1888. meet the following conditions:
1889. (a) You must give any other recipients of the Work or
1890. Derivative Works a copy of this License; and
1891. (b) You must cause any modified files to carry prominent notices
1892. stating that You changed the files; and
1893. (c) You must retain, in the Source form of any Derivative Works
1894. that You distribute, all copyright, patent, trademark, and
1895. attribution notices from the Source form of the Work,
1896. excluding those notices that do not pertain to any part of
  1897. the Derivative Works; and
1898. (d) If the Work includes a "NOTICE" text file as part of its
1899. distribution, then any Derivative Works that You distribute must
1900. include a readable copy of the attribution notices contained
1901. within such NOTICE file, excluding those notices that do not
1902. pertain to any part of the Derivative Works, in at least one
1903. of the following places: within a NOTICE text file distributed
1904. as part of the Derivative Works; within the Source form or
1905. documentation, if provided along with the Derivative Works; or,
1906. within a display generated by the Derivative Works, if and
1907. wherever such third-party notices normally appear. The contents
1908. of the NOTICE file are for informational purposes only and
1909. do not modify the License. You may add Your own attribution
1910. notices within Derivative Works that You distribute, alongside
1911. or as an addendum to the NOTICE text from the Work, provided
1912. that such additional attribution notices cannot be construed
  1913. as modifying the License.
1914. You may add Your own copyright statement to Your modifications and
1915. may provide additional or different license terms and conditions
1916. for use, reproduction, or distribution of Your modifications, or
1917. for any such Derivative Works as a whole, provided Your use,
1918. reproduction, and distribution of the Work otherwise complies with
1919. the conditions stated in this License.
1920. 5. Submission of Contributions. Unless You explicitly state otherwise,
1921. any Contribution intentionally submitted for inclusion in the Work
1922. by You to the Licensor shall be under the terms and conditions of
1923. this License, without any additional terms or conditions.
1924. Notwithstanding the above, nothing herein shall supersede or modify
1925. the terms of any separate license agreement you may have executed
1926. with Licensor regarding such Contributions.
1927. 6. Trademarks. This License does not grant permission to use the trade

1930. origin of the Work and reproducing the content of the NOTICE file.
1931. 7. Disclaimer of Warranty. Unless required by applicable law or

1941. whether in tort (including negligence), contract, or otherwise,
1942. unless required by applicable law (such as deliberate and grossly
1943. negligent acts) or agreed to in writing, shall any Contributor be
1944. liable to You for damages, including any direct, indirect, special,
1945. incidental, or consequential damages of any character arising as a
1946. result of this License or out of the use or inability to use the
1947. Work (including but not limited to damages for loss of goodwill,
1948. work stoppage, computer failure or malfunction, or any and all
1949. other commercial damages or losses), even if such Contributor
1950. has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
1951. 9. Accepting Warranty or Additional Liability. While redistributing

2089. You may add Your own copyright statement to Your modifications and
2090. may provide additional or different license terms and conditions
2091. for use, reproduction, or distribution of Your modifications, or
2092. for any such Derivative Works as a whole, provided Your use,
2093. reproduction, and distribution of the Work otherwise complies with
2094. the conditions stated in this License.
2095. 5. Submission of Contributions. Unless You explicitly state otherwise,
2096. any Contribution intentionally submitted for inclusion in the Work
2097. by You to the Licensor shall be under the terms and conditions of
2098. this License, without any additional terms or conditions.
2099. Notwithstanding the above, nothing herein shall supersede or modify
2100. the terms of any separate license agreement you may have executed
2101. with Licensor regarding such Contributions.
2102. 6. Trademarks. This License does not grant permission to use the trade
2103. names, trademarks, service marks, or product names of the Licensor,
2104. except as required for reasonable and customary use in describing the
2105. origin of the Work and reproducing the content of the NOTICE file.
2106. 7. Disclaimer of Warranty. Unless required by applicable law or
2107. agreed to in writing, Licensor provides the Work (and each
2108. Contributor provides its Contributions) on an "AS IS" BASIS,
2109. WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, either express or
2110. implied, including, without limitation, any warranties or conditions

2113. appropriateness of using or redistributing the Work and assume any
2114. risks associated with Your exercise of permissions under this License.
2115. 8. Limitation of Liability. In no event and under no legal theory,
2116. whether in tort (including negligence), contract, or otherwise,
2117. unless required by applicable law (such as deliberate and grossly
2118. negligent acts) or agreed to in writing, shall any Contributor be
2119. liable to You for damages, including any direct, indirect, special,
2120. incidental, or consequential damages of any character arising as a
2121. result of this License or out of the use or inability to use the
2122. Work (including but not limited to damages for loss of goodwill,
2123. work stoppage, computer failure or malfunction, or any and all
2124. other commercial damages or losses), even if such Contributor
2125. has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
2126. 9. Accepting Warranty or Additional Liability. While redistributing
2127. the Work or Derivative Works thereof, You may choose to offer,
2128. and charge a fee for, acceptance of support, warranty, indemnity,
2129. or other liability obligations and/or rights consistent with this
2130. License. However, in accepting such obligations, You may act only
2131. on Your own behalf and on Your sole responsibility, not on behalf
2132. of any other Contributor, and only if You agree to indemnify,
2133. defend, and hold each Contributor harmless for any liability
2134. incurred by, or claims asserted against, such Contributor by reason
2135. of your accepting any such warranty or additional liability.

2161. TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR USE, REPRODUCTION, AND DISTRIBUTION
  2162. 1. Definitions.
2163. "License" shall mean the terms and conditions for use, reproduction,
2164. and distribution as defined by Sections 1 through 9 of this document.
2165. "Licensor" shall mean the copyright owner or entity authorized by
2166. the copyright owner that is granting the License.
2167. "Legal Entity" shall mean the union of the acting entity and all
2168. other entities that control, are controlled by, or are under common
2169. control with that entity. For the purposes of this definition,
2170. "control" means (i) the power, direct or indirect, to cause the
2171. direction or management of such entity, whether by contract or
2172. otherwise, or (ii) ownership of fifty percent (50%) or more of the
2173. outstanding shares, or (iii) beneficial ownership of such entity.
2174. "You" (or "Your") shall mean an individual or Legal Entity
2175. exercising permissions granted by this License.
2176. "Source" form shall mean the preferred form for making modifications,
2177. including but not limited to software source code, documentation
  2178. source, and configuration files.
2179. "Object" form shall mean any form resulting from mechanical
2180. transformation or translation of a Source form, including but
2181. not limited to compiled object code, generated documentation,
2182. and conversions to other media types.
2183. "Work" shall mean the work of authorship, whether in Source or
2184. Object form, made available under the License, as indicated by a
2185. copyright notice that is included in or attached to the work
2186. (an example is provided in the Appendix below).
2187. "Derivative Works" shall mean any work, whether in Source or Object
2188. form, that is based on (or derived from) the Work and for which the
2189. editorial revisions, annotations, elaborations, or other modifications
2190. represent, as a whole, an original work of authorship. For the purposes
2191. of this License, Derivative Works shall not include works that remain
2192. separable from, or merely link (or bind by name) to the interfaces of,
2193. the Work and Derivative Works thereof.
2194. "Contribution" shall mean any work of authorship, including
2195. the original version of the Work and any modifications or additions
2196. to that Work or Derivative Works thereof, that is intentionally
2197. submitted to Licensor for inclusion in the Work by the copyright owner
2198. or by an individual or Legal Entity authorized to submit on behalf of
2199. the copyright owner. For the purposes of this definition, "submitted"
2200. means any form of electronic, verbal, or written communication sent
2201. to the Licensor or its representatives, including but not limited to
2202. communication on electronic mailing lists, source code control systems,
2203. and issue tracking systems that are managed by, or on behalf of, the
2204. Licensor for the purpose of discussing and improving the Work, but
2205. excluding communication that is conspicuously marked or otherwise
2206. designated in writing by the copyright owner as "Not a Contribution."
2207. "Contributor" shall mean Licensor and any individual or Legal Entity
2208. on behalf of whom a Contribution has been received by Licensor and
2209. subsequently incorporated within the Work.
2210. 2. Grant of Copyright License. Subject to the terms and conditions of
2211. this License, each Contributor hereby grants to You a perpetual,
  2212. worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable
2213. copyright license to reproduce, prepare Derivative Works of,
2214. publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and distribute the
2215. Work and such Derivative Works in Source or Object form.
2216. 3. Grant of Patent License. Subject to the terms and conditions of
2217. this License, each Contributor hereby grants to You a perpetual,
  2218. worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable
2219. (except as stated in this section) patent license to make, have made,
2220. use, offer to sell, sell, import, and otherwise transfer the Work,
2221. where such license applies only to those patent claims licensable
2222. by such Contributor that are necessarily infringed by their
2223. Contribution(s) alone or by combination of their Contribution(s)
2224. with the Work to which such Contribution(s) was submitted. If You
2225. institute patent litigation against any entity (including a
2226. cross-claim or counterclaim in a lawsuit) alleging that the Work
2227. or a Contribution incorporated within the Work constitutes direct
2228. or contributory patent infringement, then any patent licenses
2229. granted to You under this License for that Work shall terminate
2230. as of the date such litigation is filed.
2231. 4. Redistribution. You may reproduce and distribute copies of the
2232. Work or Derivative Works thereof in any medium, with or without
2233. modifications, and in Source or Object form, provided that You
  2234. meet the following conditions:
2235. (a) You must give any other recipients of the Work or
2236. Derivative Works a copy of this License; and
2237. (b) You must cause any modified files to carry prominent notices
2238. stating that You changed the files; and
2239. (c) You must retain, in the Source form of any Derivative Works
2240. that You distribute, all copyright, patent, trademark, and
2241. attribution notices from the Source form of the Work,
2242. excluding those notices that do not pertain to any part of
  2243. the Derivative Works; and
2244. (d) If the Work includes a "NOTICE" text file as part of its
2245. distribution, then any Derivative Works that You distribute must
2246. include a readable copy of the attribution notices contained
2247. within such NOTICE file, excluding those notices that do not
2248. pertain to any part of the Derivative Works, in at least one
2249. of the following places: within a NOTICE text file distributed
2250. as part of the Derivative Works; within the Source form or
2251. documentation, if provided along with the Derivative Works; or,
2252. within a display generated by the Derivative Works, if and
2253. wherever such third-party notices normally appear. The contents
2254. of the NOTICE file are for informational purposes only and
2255. do not modify the License. You may add Your own attribution
2256. notices within Derivative Works that You distribute, alongside
2257. or as an addendum to the NOTICE text from the Work, provided
2258. that such additional attribution notices cannot be construed
  2259. as modifying the License.
2260. You may add Your own copyright statement to Your modifications and
2261. may provide additional or different license terms and conditions
2262. for use, reproduction, or distribution of Your modifications, or
2263. for any such Derivative Works as a whole, provided Your use,
2264. reproduction, and distribution of the Work otherwise complies with
2265. the conditions stated in this License.
2266. 5. Submission of Contributions. Unless You explicitly state otherwise,
2267. any Contribution intentionally submitted for inclusion in the Work
2268. by You to the Licensor shall be under the terms and conditions of
2269. this License, without any additional terms or conditions.
2270. Notwithstanding the above, nothing herein shall supersede or modify
2271. the terms of any separate license agreement you may have executed
2272. with Licensor regarding such Contributions.
2273. 6. Trademarks. This License does not grant permission to use the trade
2274. names, trademarks, service marks, or product names of the Licensor,
2275. except as required for reasonable and customary use in describing the
2276. origin of the Work and reproducing the content of the NOTICE file.
2277. 7. Disclaimer of Warranty. Unless required by applicable law or
2278. agreed to in writing, Licensor provides the Work (and each
2279. Contributor provides its Contributions) on an "AS IS" BASIS,
2280. WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, either express or
2281. implied, including, without limitation, any warranties or conditions
2282. of TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY, or FITNESS FOR A
2283. PARTICULAR PURPOSE. You are solely responsible for determining the
2284. appropriateness of using or redistributing the Work and assume any
2285. risks associated with Your exercise of permissions under this License.
2286. 8. Limitation of Liability. In no event and under no legal theory,
2287. whether in tort (including negligence), contract, or otherwise,
2288. unless required by applicable law (such as deliberate and grossly
2289. negligent acts) or agreed to in writing, shall any Contributor be
2290. liable to You for damages, including any direct, indirect, special,
2291. incidental, or consequential damages of any character arising as a
2292. result of this License or out of the use or inability to use the
2293. Work (including but not limited to damages for loss of goodwill,
2294. work stoppage, computer failure or malfunction, or any and all
2295. other commercial damages or losses), even if such Contributor
2296. has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
2297. 9. Accepting Warranty or Additional Liability. While redistributing
2298. the Work or Derivative Works thereof, You may choose to offer,
2299. and charge a fee for, acceptance of support, warranty, indemnity,
2300. or other liability obligations and/or rights consistent with this
2301. License. However, in accepting such obligations, You may act only
2302. on Your own behalf and on Your sole responsibility, not on behalf
2303. of any other Contributor, and only if You agree to indemnify,
2304. defend, and hold each Contributor harmless for any liability
2305. incurred by, or claims asserted against, such Contributor by reason
2306. of your accepting any such warranty or additional liability.

2481. the Executable Form how they can obtain a copy of such Source Code
2482. Form by reasonable means in a timely manner, at a charge no more
2483. than the cost of distribution to the recipient; and
2484. (b) You may distribute such Executable Form under the terms of this
2485. License, or sublicense it under different terms, provided that the

2487. the recipients' rights in the Source Code Form under this License.
  2488. 3.3. Distribution of a Larger Work
2489. You may create and distribute a Larger Work under terms of Your choice,
2490. provided that You also comply with the requirements of this License for
2491. the Covered Software. If the Larger Work is a combination of Covered
2492. Software with a work governed by one or more Secondary Licenses, and the
2493. Covered Software is not Incompatible With Secondary Licenses, this
2494. License permits You to additionally distribute such Covered Software
2495. under the terms of such Secondary License(s), so that the recipient of
2496. the Larger Work may, at their option, further distribute the Covered
2497. Software under the terms of either this License or such Secondary
  2498. License(s).
  2499. 3.4. Notices
2500. You may not remove or alter the substance of any license notices
2501. (including copyright notices, patent notices, disclaimers of warranty,
2502. or limitations of liability) contained within the Source Code Form of
2503. the Covered Software, except that You may alter any license notices to
2504. the extent required to remedy known factual inaccuracies.
2505. 3.5. Application of Additional Terms
2506. You may choose to offer, and to charge a fee for, warranty, support,
2507. indemnity or liability obligations to one or more recipients of Covered
2508. Software. However, You may do so only on Your own behalf, and not on
2509. behalf of any Contributor. You must make it absolutely clear that any
2510. such warranty, support, indemnity, or liability obligation is offered by
2511. You alone, and You hereby agree to indemnify every Contributor for any
2512. liability incurred by such Contributor as a result of warranty, support,
2513. indemnity or liability terms You offer. You may include additional
2514. disclaimers of warranty and limitations of liability specific to any
  2515. jurisdiction.
2516. 4. Inability to Comply Due to Statute or Regulation
  2517. ---------------------------------------------------
2518. If it is impossible for You to comply with any of the terms of this
2519. License with respect to some or all of the Covered Software due to
2520. statute, judicial order, or regulation then You must: (a) comply with
2521. the terms of this License to the maximum extent possible; and (b)
2522. describe the limitations and the code they affect. Such description must
2523. be placed in a text file included with all distributions of the Covered
2524. Software under this License. Except to the extent prohibited by statute
2525. or regulation, such description must be sufficiently detailed for a
2526. recipient of ordinary skill to be able to understand it.
  2527. 5. Termination
  2528. --------------
2529. 5.1. The rights granted under this License will terminate automatically
2530. if You fail to comply with any of its terms. However, if You become
2531. compliant, then the rights granted under this License from a particular
2532. Contributor are reinstated (a) provisionally, unless and until such
2533. Contributor explicitly and finally terminates Your grants, and (b) on an
2534. ongoing basis, if such Contributor fails to notify You of the
2535. non-compliance by some reasonable means prior to 60 days after You have
2536. come back into compliance. Moreover, Your grants from a particular
2537. Contributor are reinstated on an ongoing basis if such Contributor
2538. notifies You of the non-compliance by some reasonable means, this is the
2539. first time You have received notice of non-compliance with this License
2540. from such Contributor, and You become compliant prior to 30 days after
2541. Your receipt of the notice.
2542. 5.2. If You initiate litigation against any entity by asserting a patent
2543. infringement claim (excluding declaratory judgment actions,
  2544. counter-claims, and cross-claims) alleging that a Contributor Version
2545. directly or indirectly infringes any patent, then the rights granted to
2546. You by any and all Contributors for the Covered Software under Section
2547. 2.1 of this License shall terminate.
2548. 5.3. In the event of termination under Sections 5.1 or 5.2 above, all
2549. end user license agreements (excluding distributors and resellers) which
2550. have been validly granted by You or Your distributors under this License
2551. prior to termination shall survive termination.

  2592. 8. Litigation
  2593. -------------
2594. Any litigation relating to this License may be brought only in the
2595. courts of a jurisdiction where the defendant maintains its principal
2596. place of business and such litigation shall be governed by laws of that
2597. jurisdiction, without reference to its conflict-of-law provisions.
2598. Nothing in this Section shall prevent a party's ability to bring
  2599. cross-claims or counter-claims.
  2600. 9. Miscellaneous
  2601. ----------------
2602. This License represents the complete agreement concerning the subject
2603. matter hereof. If any provision of this License is held to be
2604. unenforceable, such provision shall be reformed only to the extent
2605. necessary to make it enforceable. Any law or regulation which provides
2606. that the language of a contract shall be construed against the drafter
2607. shall not be used to construe this License against a Contributor.
2608. 10. Versions of the License
  2609. ---------------------------
  2610. 10.1. New Versions
2611. Mozilla Foundation is the license steward. Except as provided in Section
2612. 10.3, no one other than the license steward has the right to modify or
2613. publish new versions of this License. Each version will be given a
  2614. distinguishing version number.
2615. 10.2. Effect of New Versions
2616. You may distribute the Covered Software under the terms of the version
2617. of the License under which You originally received the Covered Software,
2618. or under the terms of any subsequent version published by the license
  2619. steward.
  2620. 10.3. Modified Versions
2621. If you create software not governed by this License, and you want to
2622. create a new license for such software, you may create and use a
2623. modified version of this License if you rename the license and remove
2624. any references to the name of the license steward (except to note that
2625. such modified license differs from this License).
2626. 10.4. Distributing Source Code Form that is Incompatible With Secondary
  2627. Licenses
2628. If You choose to distribute Source Code Form that is Incompatible With
2629. Secondary Licenses under the terms of this version of the License, the
2630. notice described in Exhibit B of this License must be attached.
2631. Exhibit A - Source Code Form License Notice

2636. If it is not possible or desirable to put the notice in a particular
2637. file, then You may include the notice in a location (such as a LICENSE
2638. file in a relevant directory) where a recipient would be likely to look
  2639. for such a notice.
2640. You may add additional accurate notices of copyright ownership.
